[VIDEO] Environmental Impacts of Large Dams

Lia Alonzo of Asia Pacific Network of Environment Defenders (APNED) and Center for Environmental Concerns – Philippines (CEC) laid out what at stake for our environment in building large dams. Here, she discussed impacts of large dams to the ecological community, changes affecting flora and fauna, and communities connected to the river in the context of resource conflicts and human rights issues experienced by environment defenders.
